This is the perfect example of a researcher who understands the subject of
his research. Also, the cost to approve a natural drug like this is the
main reason it will most likely never reach the thousands of people who
might receive the greatest benefit. With the private sector controlling the
approval of drugs, the public cost of drug addiction is of no concern to
the drug manufacturers or insurance companies.

I saw / experienced the exact thing he did – cave men rising from the dirt,
eating, and going back into the dirt over and over and over until they
evolved into an advanced civilization. This scene progressed over the
course of the three day treatment without sleeping. It was almost entirely
like some kind of movie about evolution and the cycle of life. I was
addicted to Heroin for two years and I have been clean now for over a year
    since my treatment.

  • Mike Beary September 18, 2007 at 7:55 pm

yes, very much so. It had a very strong effect on me. I saw these people
quickly being formed from mud, eating, eating, eating, and then going back
into the mud. Their only purpose was to eat. Then I saw people on the
surface or skin of the universe where things were most evolved, and when
they die they go back to the center where it’s very simple. They left
behind everything when they died, memories, etc.

The whole experience left me with an idea of life being very indifferent
    and cold, but beautiful.

Just talked to friend who underwent Ibogaine treatment in Mexico. He did
this because of heroin and cocaine use. His results were miraculous.Besides
quitting heroin and cocaine, he ended a 25 yr smoking habit overnight. He
said the “trip” was intense..somewhat comparable to 5-15 hits of the most
powerful LSD. But different. He mentioned “touching the eternal” but was
really unable to describe. I am on suboxone and thinking about taking
    treatment myself. It sounds incredible.

haha check this out he quit youtube

  • GODSnaughtyMONKEYS September 6, 2009 at 12:05 am

Actually, I did go down there! I didn’t quit smoking. But the experience
was life changing. I highly recommend it. However, it is not for the faint
of heart. By far the most intense psychedelic experience I’ve ever had.
Much of it not pleasant at all. However, I did get all questions about our
existence answered. I no longer question why I’m on this planet.

    @GODSnaughtyMONKEYS explain

  • Eqoob October 17, 2013 at 1:59 am

hi… I don’t know how is last years, because a lot of things had
changed… but a “treatment” was costing 1000-2000 eur for ibogaine HCl
“treatment”… why I write “treatment”? because there was no clinical
observation etc… it was more in this way: you became a member of the
“religious community”(because use is illegal only for religious purpose)
the “priest” gave you the dose, he was a kind of sitter during the trip,
controlling every 20 min how are you… I am a member of the “community”

  • Eqoob October 17, 2013 at 2:06 am

sorry, I meant was legal only in a religious context… then were some
complications with the law, a couple of deaths(not caused by iboga, but by
after iboga opiate overdoses) and the whole thing broke… today I have no
contacts with nobody of the community, but still have contacts with the
iboga supplier… iboga is really a great plant

  • Aquila Aer October 17, 2013 at 8:11 pm

Yes, that´s what I thought that the same dose of drugs taken before iboga
can be as an overdose for the body, taken after iboga; because from the
reports which i have heard about iboga´s physical effect on the body sounds
as this substance has the capability to clean the body from all chemical
substances which are un-familiar to the body from the beginning.

  • Aquila Aer October 17, 2013 at 8:14 pm

Therefore I was interested and I would like to know if this plant can clean
the body from nicotine and all other chemical poisons which we get e.g.
from smoking cigarettes, because I am interested to stop immidiately with
    it.

  • Eqoob October 18, 2013 at 11:23 pm

I am talking about Slovenia, yes… here’s not something as a clinic that
uses iboga for healing… “treatments” are consumed in normal homes, with
the “assistance” of a member of the “community of the Passage”… the
doctor on the video – Roman Paškulin, he’s a researcher, he doesn’t
treatments with iboga to other people, but he is also a member of the
community… a wise guy… so, about what I know, in Slovenia we don’t have
clinics, only doing treatment with a trusted buddy…

  • Aquila Aer October 19, 2013 at 7:07 pm

Such an un-believable chemical power.. I have actually heard similar things
as you saying, from some other friends. That´s the reason why I wanna take
it, but it will take time for me until I use some. Maybe a couple of
months. Until then I will be still smoking the toxic cigarettes,
unfortunately. I have a couple of questions, if you know the answer of
course. What do you think, does iboga kill numbers of brain-cells while
cleaning it from poison and regulating the receptors as you say…?

  • Eqoob November 5, 2013 at 2:07 am

… and that’s because it doesn’t act like alcohol, which causes
“psychedelic” effects chemically beating brain cells and covering them,
influencing them directly, almost physically… no… it acts in a
different way… it acts as a trigger, a key, which turns on another way of
functioning of the brains… in other words, it doesn’t change the
chemistry or shape, it just changes the way how brains work.. practically
iboga resets the brain to the natural state

  • Aquila Aer November 5, 2013 at 5:40 pm

Hi, I wonder again: If it cleans the body from toxins, what do you think,
why some people go back to cigarettes? Although they may be few cases, but
what is the explanation to it?

  • Eqoob November 5, 2013 at 7:23 pm

it does cause psychedelic exp… a hard one… but a psychedelic exp is not
necessarily related to brain cells damage… and in the case of iboga, it
can rather cause harm to other organs than to brain… yes it stimulates
and fastens metabolism and that’s the reason why an addict can recover in a
couple of days instead a week or two… it does beneficial chemical effects
on the body and spiritual in the mind. one time a month I take a little
amount of rootbark and it really makes the difference
